The following policies have been instituted to insure the enjoyment and safety of all Club members:
Queen City Racquet and Fitness Club is a membership club. Everyone must check in at the desk before using the facility and pay appropriate fees. Membership privileges may not be loaned under any circumstances.
All monthly rates are available only through the CHECKFREE program and are based on a continuous membership.
Indoor court reservations and tennis lessons must be cancelled with a 24-hour notice or the appropriate charge will be made. Please don't ask us to evaluate your "emergency". This is a strict policy which we must enforce.
Please - no food, or drinks on the indoor courts. Water bottles with lids are the only exceptions.
Court reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance of playing time. Please book your court with the names of all players.
All membership activation and monthly fees are subject to state sales tax.
Activation Fees are a one time charge as long as the membership is kept current. (This is a non-refundable fee.) Upgrading a membership requires paying the difference in activation fees. Downgrades will be charged a $25 processing fee. All memberships require a $1.75 monthly service fee.
There will be a charge of 1.5% or a mininum of .50 on all balances 30 days past due.
ALL children must remain within the nursery at all times unless accompanied by a non-playing parent or a designated babysitter. When the nursery is closed, children under 12 years of age must be supervised by a non-playing parent or a designated babysitter. No children under the age of 14 are permitted in the Fitness Center.
The Club can not be responsible for personal injury or loss or damage of personal property. All persons using the club's facilities do so at their own risk.
The cost of any property damage to the club will be charged to the responsible parent, member or visitor.
Tournaments and Club scheduled matches have preference over all play. In such cases, efforts will be made not to schedule all courts, but to keep some open for general play.
All fees are subject to change without notice.
CHECKFREE by Jonas
The most modern and convenient method to pay your monthly club dues and purchases.
In our effort to provide more service, better programming, convenience and security to our members, we have a billing system available called CHECKFREE. This system enables you to extend payment of membership, but more importantly, it allows signature purchases of court time, cafe purchases, lessons, etc. You don't need to use cash or credit cards. Just sign for your purchases.
CHECKFREE is available through your checking account, Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. Your monthly purchases are charged directly to your bank on or about the 18th of each month. Your bank pays us, and records the payment on your bank statement just as if you'd written a check or used your credit card.
You can see your itemized statement via our website at www.queencityfitness.com before the transaction date advising you that the transaction will take place.
You can get your username and password from the club to access our website.
Payment is made on the exact day it is due. It is a more secure system that saves you time and money.
You may change or stop CHECKFREE in the same manner you terminate your club membership by giving the club 30 DAYS WRITTEN NOTICE.
QUEEN CITY RACQUET CLUB does not have contracts for membership. You may drop at anytime with a 30 day written notice but remember you will have to pay the activation fee again if you wish to rejoin.
